Business Development Manager

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Account Manager with commercial HVAC and Refrigeration experience selling to multi-unit companies in the retail, food and healthcare sectors. This role is responsible for leading corporate level sales & marketing efforts that will improve the company’s revenue growth and profitability with strategic corporate accounts. Serving as the direct interface between the company and its target customer’s lead decision makers, the primary focus is to identify, acquire, and develop target strategic accounts to drive business growth.

Location: Southern New Jersey with travel as needed throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify multi-unit strategic accounts and create and implement a plan to acquire and develop targeted accounts to drive revenue and profit growth
  • Oversee the development of marketing materials targeted to strategic accounts
  • Execute strategic sales plan and regularly visit targeted strategic accounts
  • Act as the primary point of contact between the company and strategic account key personnel and decision makers
  • Maintain and communicate strategic account performance and contract requirements
  • Coordinate and provide input to the field service team
  • Coordinate with management on pricing reviews with strategic accounts in line with corporate objectives
  • Coordinate with Customer Service Manager and Operations Manager to ensure exceptional customer service ratings
  • Develop membership and relationships with key industry associations
  • Networking within industry associations and strategic accounts’ key personnel to build a robust network of company champions
  • Present/conduct informational company/product presentations
  • Coordinate and participate in industry trade shows, fairs, and promotional events
  • Provide insight and intelligence to the management team on strategic account strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats (SWOT)
  • Actively participate in strategic account sales, marketing, and operational meetings as required
  • Provide monthly sales reports as required
  • Manage assigned budget effectively and efficiently

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Minimum of 7 years’ field sales & marketing experience in HVAC, refrigeration or related energy management field
  • Extensive contacts & experience selling to multi-unit operators in the retail, food, and healthcare sectors
  • Skilled in negotiation and relationship development with executive level leadership
  • Experience developing and implementing strategic sales plans
  • Cross-functional team leadership and motivation skills

  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work independently as well as within and/or leading a project team
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and interact effectively with a diverse customer audience
  • Strategic thinker with strong planning & organizational skills
  • MS Office proficiency – Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Financial and expense management skills
  • Effective presentation skills
  • High level of honesty & integrity

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $75,000.00 to $90,000.00 /year

Experience:

  • HVAC, Refrigeration or related: 7 years (Required)
  • sales & marketing: 7 years (Required)

HVAC Repair Tech

Rite-Air Mechanical has an opening for an HVAC tech who will diagnose, repair, and install HVAC systems including commercial refrigeration package heating and air conditioning units, furnaces, boilers, air conditioning compressors, line sets, air handlers, duct work, etc.

Requirements

  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Clean driving record
  • EPA Certification
  • Ability to read mechanical and electrical blueprints, a plus
  • 3 years of Commercial experience in the HVAC field
  • Perform On-call duties as needed to ensure proper after-hours coverage of service calls.
  • Ability to lift heavy equipment
  • Good references
  • Must maintain a professional appearance
  • Must have a friendly, positive attitude
  • Must possess the ability to communicate with customers, dispatch and management effectively
